Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 October 2026.

These terms apply to your use of Moleculium ("the site"), run by İsmail Tufan. By using the site you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.

Educational content, not advice

The site is an educational reference. Its pages explain what substances are and how they behave; they are not medical, safety, legal or professional advice, and they are not instructions for handling, mixing or making any substance. For the safe handling of a chemical, rely on its safety data sheet, the sheets linked from each page (PubChem's Laboratory Chemical Safety Summaries and the NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards), and qualified supervision. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number or poison control centre.

Accuracy

Data is taken from the sources credited on each page and in the footer, and the text is checked against its cited sources, but the site may still contain errors or omissions, and sources can change. The site is provided "as is", without any warranty that it is complete, accurate or available at all times. Please report errors to hello@moleculium.com.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, İsmail Tufan is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Copyright and permitted use

The text, drawings and design of the site are © İsmail Tufan. You may read, print and link to pages, show them in a classroom, and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please ask before republishing whole pages or substantial parts of them.

Third-party data keeps its own terms. Structures and property data come from PubChem (US National Library of Medicine); the periodic-table layout, shells and electron configurations come from Periodic-Table-JSON by Bowserinator and are adapted here; that element data (periods, groups, blocks, electron shells and configurations) remains available to you under CC BY-SA 3.0, and the limits in the paragraph above do not apply to it; standard atomic weights come from IUPAC/CIAAW. Textbooks and other works cited on a page belong to their authors and are linked, not reproduced.

Sources and endorsement

Each page lists the sources it cites. They are cited for the facts the page states, and the page states those facts in its own words. A citation is a credit and nothing more: no agency, laboratory or publisher cited on the site endorses it, sponsors it or is affiliated with it, and their names appear only to say where a fact comes from, never to advertise the site or anything shown on it. What those bodies publish is not changed here and stays available from them at the addresses linked; the government agencies' pages are free to read there.

Links to other sites

Pages link to sources and safety sheets on other websites. Those sites are not under the site's control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Advertising

Advertising on the site comes from Google AdSense. Ads are chosen by Google, not by the site, and do not mean that the site endorses the advertiser. How advertising uses data is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date at the top shows the current version. They are governed by the laws of Turkey. Questions go to hello@moleculium.com.
